  • Janeen Schissler

    The paintings of Janeen Schissler have been featured in solo and group exhibits throughout the United States and Canada including the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Hole, Wyoming . Schissler’s work is in private and corporate collections, most recently those of Idaho Forest Industries, Coeur D’ Alene Mines and Leaning Tree, Incorporated. Teaching art became a passion so Janeen began a second career in 2008 as the director of “The Studio” Art School in Bellevue, Washington. After 30 years in the fine arts field and teaching Janeen developed a curriculum with an emphasis on classical art instruction.

  • Doug Powell

    Doug Powell began his full-time career in 1972, after attaining a BFA from Texas Christian University. Shortly afterwards, circumstances led him to San Diego, California. For the next thirty-five years, his career included numerous graphic design positions with industries including aerospace, computer manufacturing, advertising, broadcast, consumer catalog, healthcare and newspaper. In 2005, he chose to leave the corporate environment in order to pursue other art-related endeavors. Teaching art to children was at the top of his list. His experience includes Art Teacher with the Monart School of the Arts (both studio and after-school programs), and Educator-Guide with “Little Artist,” part of the San Diego Zoo’s Summer camp program.

  • Dana Schlingman

    Dana Schlingman graduated Summa Cum Laude from Biola University, La Mirada, California with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with an emphasis in Drawing and Painting. Dana’s aspirations include illustrating children’s books and building her portfolio.

  • Jameson Long

    Jameson Long recently graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Studio Art emphasizing Graphic Design and a Minor in Art History. Through is education he had the opportunity to practice a wide variety of art spanning from drawing and painting to ceramics and design. Jameson moved to Colorado in July 2011 in hopes of starting his life in a new setting. When he is not cooking, practicing music or playing with his dog, he is doing things to hone his artistic abilities.
