The paintings of award winning artist Janeen Schissler have been featured in solo and group exhibits throughout the United States and Canada including the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, The Charlie Russell Show in Great Falls, Montana and the Annual Miniature Show in Tucson, Arizona.  In addition her most recent awards and honors include the David Popkin Purchase Award with the Pastel Society of America in 2007 and the Coup D'Ville Award at the U.S. Plein Air Open in 2006.

Janeen started her career as a commercial artist and illustrator in 1976 in Denver, Colorado.  Moving into the fine arts field in the 1980's she began to develop her photo realistic style in watercolors specializing in wildlife and landscape subjects. 

Schissler's work is in private and corporate collections including those of Idaho Forest Industries, Coeur D' Alene Mines and Leaning Tree, Incorporated.
